33 Humanities Grants Awarded Across NYS for Public Programs on Women’s History, Queer Issues, and Localities
NYC, New York–Humanities New York (HNY) today announced $159,692 in awards to 33 grantees for innovative public humanities offerings. Awards were made in nearly every region of the state, from the North Country to Western New York. “At this moment, we need the humanities more than ever,” said Executive Director Sara Ogger. “The awarded programs directly engage participants in their history, and with each other.
