Finance and Operations Internship 2025-26
This internship offers hands-on experience in nonprofit management, finance, and operations—particularly as HNY modernizes its internal systems after two decades of manual processes. The intern will gain exposure to file digitization, financial workflows, administrative systems, and the essential behind-the-scenes work that keeps mission-driven programs running efficiently.
Programmatic Operations Internship 2025-26
This internship offers a unique opportunity for a student or early-career professional interested in public humanities, civic engagement, and nonprofit administration—and in the daily operations that make these ideas accessible to communities statewide. The intern will support HNY’s Community Conversations, In Common: A Humanities Forum, and HNY Interviews programs, while also assisting with light grant operations from November through January.

The intern will support HNY’s Reading & Discussion and Community Conversations programs during an exciting period of renewal as we prepare for the 250th anniversary of the United States through the theme Revolution.
