Memorable American Fiction from West to East, a Reading & Discussion program at Lyons Public Library
This discussion series will use novels set in different time periods and regions in the United States as a starting point to discuss why certain books are memorable with readers by examining the merits (and shortfalls) of each novel. Each of these books highlights a central character. They are unified by the theme of how these characters cope with difficulties.
