The Oneida Community Mansion House is proud to present "Votes for Women," a 6 part Reading and Discussion Series this Spring! Participants will read a series of works about women's rights in America and then discuss those readings in the historic Mansion House--a place that has been a site of discussions about women's rights for over 170 years!

Serving, a Reading & Discussion program at Rosendale Public Library
The readings selected for this program represent various approaches to the theme of engagement and service. Many things potentially divide us. But despite this, Rosendale relies on service and a strong sense of civic duty to generate and support spaces within which we can maintain and extend our sense of community. Service and engagement play a large role in our community; this discussion group is aimed at helping us understand what we do here locally in a broader context.

Community Conversation: Land, Liberty, and Loss Pt. 2
HNY resumes its monthly online Community Conversation by focusing on topics discussed in last week's "Land, Liberty, and Loss" virtual event with Professor Melissane Schrems. At this free, online conversation we will discuss the historical and ongoing intersections between racial justice, including the centuries-long deprivations endured by Indigenous and Black bodies and the evolution of the American landscape. Join us to talk through these and other issues on Wednesday, May 4th, at 7:00 PM.
