Artist-Led Cemetery Walk

Thomas Cole’s grave is located in the Village Cemetery just down the street from the historic site where the artist Marc Swanson’s work will be on view for the exhibition “A Memorial to Ice at the Dead Deer Disco.” To further explore the themes of loss and memorial, the Swanson will lead walking tours of the cemetery, a public space that also has beautiful views of the Catskill Mountains. The program will provide an opportunity for audiences to connect directly with the artist to learn about the ideas and the inspiration behind the artwork.
