Dante’s Inferno, a Reading & Discussion program at the University Club of Albany
This series, which is open to the public, invites participants to examine, discuss, and enjoy one of the most influential works ever written: the Inferno from Dante’s Commedia. We will read the poem as a group, discuss its deeper meanings and symbolism, view illustrations to appreciate its visual history, and use examples from contemporary literature, film, history, and pop culture to better understand Dante’s writing today.
