“Digitizing Memories” at Bruckner Mott Haven Garden

June 18 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Free

Join us as we digitize family photos and celebrate narratives of kinship and belonging to share for years to come! Bronx residents and artists Roy Baizan and Odalys Burgoa will facilitate a scanning table to help community members archive photos. Archiving photos is important to preserve traditions, create intergenerational connections, and share stories. Photos can be of families, friends, events or any memory you would like to preserve. This is a free workshop and suitable for all ages.

Participants should bring 2-3 photos, maximum sizes 8×11.

Please have an active email to provide so we can send the high resolution photos at the end of the workshop.

This event is sponsored by The Center for the Humanities at The Graduate Center, CUNY, Humanities NY, and is part of Bruckner Mott Haven Garden @40: Translocal Histories of an Urban Green Space, support by an HNY Action Grant.

Bruckner Community Garden is an accessible garden.
