Family Hour at Ignacio House – Podcast Launch

In a series of 10 bi-weekly podcast episodes, Family Hour at Ignacio House will elevate the voices of 10+ formerly incarcerated people as they reflect on their lived experiences before, during, and after incarceration. Featured guests will examine the history of the U.S. carceral system and jurisprudence, the sociological impacts of incarceration on families and society, modalities for processing the trauma of incarceration, the current landscape of rehabilitation and re-entry support.

The “event” for purposes of this grant will be a three episode pilot series featuring conversations and guests from our Ignacio House community and other folks in our network involved in or impacted by the criminal justice system.
