As it always does, this series allows us to dive deeply into literature and examine themes, symbolism, allusions, etc. through discussions led by our phenomenal scholar-facilitator. This series is not just your typical book club, and it brings literature and literary analysis and criticism to the forefront of the library’s menu of programs and to a very appreciative and dedicated audience.
We will explore “Cat’s Eye” and “Lady Oracle” by Margaret Atwood, “In the Skin of a Lion” and “The English Patient” by Michael Ondaatje and “Fifth Business” by Robertson Davies.
In this time of isolation, this series will allow a community of readers to come together – either virtually or in person – to connect with each other and with great literature.
