Reasons & Seasons of Food, a Reading & Discussion program at Walt Whitman Birthplace

This Series, “Reasons & Seasons of Food,” will inform participants that food is harvested and marketed by many entities, sometimes for competing purposes – business gain versus truth in advertising, personal taste pleasure versus personal health. Along the way, the consumer is often served unhealthy choices. WWBA aims to explore both the serious and fun aspects of food for the healthy benefit of all participants.
