UnderWhere?: Women’s Clothing in 1905

On September 15th, Kjirsten Gustavason, Interpretive Programs Coordinator at Peebles Island Resource Center, NYS Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation, will present a costumed lecture entitled “UnderWhere?: Women’s Clothing in 1905.” This lecture will cover women’s undergarments and clothing in 1905 and how they reflected and effected everyday life for women of the time. This program will let audience members learn more about Mary Clark Thompson, original owner of Sonnenberg Gardens, and what life was like for women living in her time.
