Voices for Justice Series: Black and Brown Solidarity

In February 2021,WHEDco’s Bronx Music Heritage Center will host an online discussion via Zoom about black and brown solidarity that will feature hip hop artists and look to the past and future of African-American and Latino collaborations in arts as well as politics. The program will feature poets/activists Abiodun and Felipe Luciano from the Last Poets and Young Lords. We will also plan to feature participants from the newer generation of activists from groups such as Make the Road.

The event will be moderated by the Rebel Diaz Arts Collective, which consists of brothers RodStarz and G1. They will also be joined by DJ Illanoiz.
