Women’s Rights Movement- Diversity & Inclusion?

This is a seven part interactive lecture series on the Women’s Suffrage and equality movement. The lecturers will discuss when and how different ethnic groups received the vote. We will explore the cultural influences of the Native Americans on the Women’s Suffrage movement, the influence of Spiritualism, Christian Temperance and organizations such as the YWCA played in uniting people in the belief that women should be allowed to vote. The series will end with a Q & A and book signing.
