The evening will consist of a screening of "Palante Siempre Palante" about the Young Lords and a conversation with Iris Morales, filmmaker/Author and former Young Lord member (via Zoom), Marisa Franco of the national organization Mijente (via Zoom) and three in-person guests: Chris Rivera of NY Boricua Resistance, Nashili Ortiz of Taller Puertorricano (from Philadelphia) and moderator Dr. Yarima Bonilla of El Centro (the Center for Puerto Rican Studies at Hunter College).
