Film screening and panel discussion featuring the makers of the short documentary Without a Whisper – Konnon:Kwe. This event will serve as the public keynote for the recently created New York State History and Education Conference (NYSHEC). Filmmaker Katsitsionni Fox (Mohawk), as well as her collaborators Wakerakatste Louise McDonald Herne (Mohawk), Michelle Shenandoah (Oneida), and Dr. Sally Roesch Wagner, will be participating. Michael Galban (Mono Lake Paiute/Washoe), site manager of Ganondagan State Historic Site and the Seneca Art and Culture Center, will moderate the program.
