HNY is proud to announce the continuation of the Post-Incarceration Humanities Partnership, thanks to the generous support of the Mellon Foundation. This grant is designed for organizations that want to learn and collaborate with others who are addressing the needs of previously incarcerated individuals and their communities. For over a decade, the Humanities Centers Initiative (HCI) has been supporting the translation of the humanities from an academic setting into the public sphere. The Public Humanities Grant provides funding for graduate students from HNY's partner universities to create public humanities programming in partnership with their community.
