A collaboration with WAMC and the six other humanities councils in the listening area, Humanities New York offers a regular radio feature on WAMC’s popular program “The Roundtable” with Joe Donahue.

Humanities NY cut its first disaster relief grant check just 13 days after Hurricane Sandy, making it easier and faster for cultural organizations in New York State to focus on rebuilding. We continue this work with resiliency networks.

A year-long Fellowship allowing graduate students to work on a project that combines their research interest, public-facing work and professional development. It includes training in the methods of the public humanities, networking, and professional development.

An innovative statewide partnership between Humanities NY and a network of humanities centers based at seven New York State universities. HCI supports humanities institutes, faculty, and graduate students in their commitment to public engagement.
