Recurring Grants

HNY offers QUICK, VISION, and ACTION GRANTS to New York organizations, municipalities, and tribal governments on a monthly or semi-annual basis.

GRANT CYCLES AND MUTUAL EXCLUSIVITY

Action Grants have a semi-annual application window; Quick and Vision Grants have rolling deadlines—decisions are made the month following submission of the proposal every month of the year. 

Grantees are allowed either: one Quick Grant, one Action Grant, or one Post-Incarceration Humanities Partnership award per calendar year. Vision Grants for separate projects may be awarded in the same year.

Program dates must align with the period specified in the grant application.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Be a New York State organization, municipality, or tribal government
  • Provide documentation of tax-exempt, non-profit status
  • Submit application via the HNY grant portal, Fluxx
  • Have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI)
  • Show a minimum of a 1:1 match to HNY requested funds with either cash or in-kind funds in request budget
