Recurring Grants

HNY offers QUICK, VISION, and ACTION GRANTS to New York organizations, municipalities, and tribal governments on a monthly or semi-annual basis.

GRANT CYCLES

Action Grants have a semi-annual application window; Quick and Vision Grants have rolling deadlines—decisions are made the month following submission of the proposal every month of the year. 

Grantees may receive either: one Quick Grant, one Action Grant, or one Post-Incarceration Humanities Partnership award per calendar year. Vision Grants for separate projects may be awarded in the same year.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Be a New York State non-profit organization, municipality, or tribal government
  • Have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI)
  • Show a minimum of a 1:1 match to HNY requested funds with either cash or in-kind funds in request budget
